Philip Parkinson

Chief Executive
Philip is Chief Executive Officer and is registered with the Care Quality Commission as the Nominated Individual. He has over 35 years of experience in care and delivering care to people and maintains a strong personal interest in all service users and staff.

Philip has held several positions at Senior Board Level at various companies and a PLC. He is responsible for the overall management and leadership of Philip Parkinson Homecare.  He ensures the service is run well and safely, compliant with service regulations and standards.

Julie Parkinson

Director of Operations
As our Registered Manager and with ten years working with NHS Managers as a Non-Executive Director, Julie is well-versed in the complexities of service provision. In her Non-Executive role she worked as a Hospital Manager under the Mental Health Act, where she was chairperson of the Appeals Committee.

Before that, she was employed by the Children's Foundation (Yellow Brick Road Appeal) based at Sir James Spence Institute of Child Health, RVI, Newcastle upon Tyne.

As Director of Operations, she oversees audit, compliance and policies and procedures, and shares the legal responsibility for meeting the requirements of the relevant regulations as required by the regulatory body, the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Julie holds her certificate in Leadership and Management in Adult Social Care. She is also a member of the Royal Society of Medicine.
